Kids will use a variety of construction toys working on specific projects, practicing joint problem solving, listening and social communication skills.
This program is based on the Lego therapy model, but kids will use a variety of construction toys as the basis of their project.
The idea behind Lego therapy is to motivate children to work together in pairs and small groups on specific projects. This allows them to practice joint problem solving, listening and general social communication skills.
The program is most suited to children with strong language skills and previous exposure to social skills training.
Children will need to bring a snack, drink bottle and change of clothes (if necessary).
