How your support has helped

Aruma is a not-for-profit, for-purpose organisation committed to helping all people with a disability live a great life. It’s the reason we exist.

Because of our generous supporters, we have been able to deliver additional services for the people we support. Here are some examples of donations supporting people to live their best lives:

• COVID-safe training sessions for Supported Employees, giving them confidence and skills in the workplace
• Tools and machinery for our businesses, where over 450 people with a disability work
• Cleaning products, hand sanitiser, and personal protective equipment (PPE), to keep our living and working areas safe for people with a disability
• An upgrade to our Early Childhood Intervention facilities in Burleigh Heads, Qld, and Lismore, NSW
• An extended soccer program in the Hunter for kids with disability aged 7–13
• Sensory rooms and equipment to further support both adults and children with a disability
• And of course much, much more.

Where we still need your support

We greatly value your commitment to helping people with a disability live a great life and your future generous donations will go towards:

• Access to sensory rooms and specialist therapy equipment to calm, focus, and aid anxiety
• Further boosting supported employment opportunities
• Creating health and social programs for families of children with a disability
• Providing additional training to build workplace skills for school-leavers
• Giving people with a disability a place to call home in supported accommodation.
